Prior to founding Audrey C. Murillo, P.C., Ms. Murillo worked as an associate for a prominent Boston law firm. There, Ms. Murillo gained significant experience in the complex field of immigration law. She also handled criminal and probate cases.
In addition, Ms. Murillo gained professional training in criminal defense while working for the Committee for Public Counsel Services (CPCS) in Roxbury, Massachusetts. Ms. Murillo acquired civil litigation experience while working as a law clerk for a large defense litigation firm in Boston, Massachusetts.
Ms Murillo earned her J.D., graduating with honors, from New England School of Law. She graduated with a B.A from the University of Massachusetts Amherst with a major in political science.
Ms. Murillo learned Spanish while studying in Costa Rica. She is an active member of the Massachusetts Immigrant and Refugee Advocacy Coalition (MIRA), the American Bar Association (ABA), the Women's Bar Association (WBA), and the American Immigration Lawyers Association (AILA). She is admitted to practice in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts.
